JUANITA NEWLAND

FORT WORTH -- Juanita Imogene Newland passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, to be with her lifelong companion, Jesus Christ, during her 77th year, following a brief illness. Service: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 1201 S. Cherry Lane, White Settlement. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the Food Bank at St. Peter the Apostle, in Juanita's memory, is suggested. A native of Alabama before moving to Fort Worth, Juanita retired for the Department of Defense. Survivors: In addition to her husband, John B. Newland, Juanita is survived by her children, Margie Ball, Judy Rhodes, Rhonda Haynes, Tina Ailor, Chuck Roberts, Marshall Newland, John T. Newland and Matthew Newland; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
