Juanita Mae Palmer, 94, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 at home in Justin, TX. surrounded by her loving family. Juanita was born in Rhome, TX., to George and Mamie Drain on May 3, 1920. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, Justin, TX. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Sage Meadow Christian Fellowship Church in Justin with burial to follow at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Mamie Drain, husband Ruben A. Palmer, granddaughter Terri Dooly, a sister and 5 brothers. She is survived by daughter, Betty Sue Simpson; Grandchildren, Bobby Pitts and wife Chris, Lana Ramos and husband Kirby, Stacey Turner and husband Mike, and Debbie Themar; 13 Great grandchildren; 15 Great- great grandchildren, and sister Meyrl Palmer.
