Julia was born on August 15, 1922 in Dumas, Arkansas. Daughter of Ottis and Elva Holland. She graduated from Glendale, Arkansas. She met the love of her life James R. Clark shortly after graduation at a home town basketball game. He walked her home that night and after three months of those walks, he married her in 1941. They lived all throughout Arkansas and then moved to Texas. They raised their children in the Baptist Church and Julia took a vital role in leading the youth as a Sunday school teacher. Her husband, her children , and their community were her life and her legacy will live on through them for generations to come. Survivors: Loving husband of 66 years James Robert Clark and her younger sister, Dorthy Kinney, daughter Judy Morris and husband Marlin, son James Clark Jr., daughter Janie Cavender and husband David, grandchildren Marla Kay Morris, Rhonda Berry, Shelley Henson, Greg Clark, Justin Red Sanders,and Whitney Virginia Sanders, great-grandsons Braxton and Brock Berry.
