Kathleen Garrett

Kathleen was born Dec. 16, 1915, in Grapevine and lived her whole life in Tarrant County. She, along with her husband, Clarance Garrett, was a home builder. Kathleen began a career as a beauty operator. She was building a house for her family when someone inquired about buying it. She sold the house and thus started her building career. The love of Kathleen's life was her daughter, Joy Garrett. She devoted her life to Joy's happiness and success as an actress. Kathleen traveled extensively to New York and California for the benefit of Joy. The family wishes to thank all the loving care providers of Manor Care Arcadia Unit for their tender love and care of Kathleen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Lillian Davis; husband, Clarence; and daughter, Joy. Survivors: Niece, Scherri Garvin and her husband, Mack of North Richland Hills; and nephew, Malcolm Davis.
