NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Kenneth E. Evans, 77, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Kenneth was born and raised in Leonard by Archa and Dollie Evans. He married the love of his life, Martha Rogers, in 1953 in Dallas. They came to Fort Worth in 1954 where he began his career in retail at Leonard's department stores, then move onto Mitchells department stores. He finished his career in Cleburne with his business The Discount Store. He was loved and respected by all who knew him and he will be truly missed. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Archa and Dollie Evans; four brothers; four sisters; and a child, Roger David. Survivors: His wife of 58 years, Martha; sons, Rick and his wife, Gina, Ron and his wife, Michelle, Greg and his wife, Karen; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and a brother.
