KELLER -- Kimberley M. Miller, 56, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012. Celebration of life: Noon Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Keller. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Kim was born Sept. 22, 1956. She worked at Florence Elementary, Keller ISD and left after suffering a disability in 2007. Those who knew her will remember a friendly, outgoing woman who volunteered for many PTA activities and the Booster Club. She was awarded by the PTA for outstanding and dedicated service for years 1996-97. Before her disability, Kim undertook employment, home and volunteer work with unmatched energy. She made friends quickly wherever she went. Her strong personality, education and common sense were welcome in any setting. After her disability, Kim worked on improving her health but a recent event, coupled with existing health issues, led to her untimely death. Kim was a wonderful, loving, wife and mother. We are profoundly grieved for our loss. We will honor her memory while awaiting our reunion in the next life. Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Gus B Jr. and Billie Lou Neill. Survivors: Loving family including husband, Stephen; son, Kyle; daughter, Shannon; sister, Nancy Thome and her husband, William of McHenry, Ill.
