Kirk Franklin

Kirk Franklin, 42, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2013, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hillside Community Church in Keller. Kirk was born Feb. 16, 1971, in Durango, Colo. He was from Graham and resided in Saginaw. He was an alumni of the University of North Texas and was a small-business owner. Survivors: His wife, Sheila Franklin; children, Konnor and Abbie Franklin; stepdaughter, Alyssa Barker; parents, Hal and Kay Franklin; sister, Kim Scheriger and husband, Kory; brother, Kelly Franklin and wife, Brenda; and many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
