EULESS -- Steven L. Householder, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 10 a.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, where the family will greet friends following the service. Steven was born in Nashville, TN on September 4, 1943 and went on to graduate from Valley Forge Military Academy and attended The Citadel in Charleston, SC for 3 years. While at the Citadel, he excelled as a member of the skydiving team. He completed his undergraduate degree in Business at Florida Southern University after a tour of duty in Vietnam. He earned his Master's Degree in Business from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fl., after which he enjoyed a successful 30 year career in the insurance industry. His career took him to several different locations across the country like Buffalo, NY, Parker, CO and different cities across Texas and enabled him to engage in many of his life's passions such as: golf, scuba diving and travel. Upon retirement, he and his wife, Peggie, moved to Euless to be near their children and grandchildren. While in Euless he found a welcoming church home at Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst. He is preceded in death by his father, Col. Robert C. Householder and mother Carma F. Householder. SURVIVORS: His spouse, Peggie L. Householder, children Stephen Kolski and his wife Molly, Samuel Kolski and his wife Norma, Christian Kolski and his wife Melanie and grandchildren Lauren, David, Bria, Julia and Allison Kolski.
