ARLINGTON -- Lauren Emily Price passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010, due to an automobile accident in Arlington. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday, July 23, at First United Methodist Church, Mansfield. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lauren may be made to the Humane Society of North Texas, www.hsnt.org, 1840 E. Lancaster, Fort Worth, Texas 76103. Lauren was a lifelong resident of Arlington and celebrated her 21st birthday on June 11, 2010. Lauren was a graduate of James Martin High School and was currently in her third year at UTA in Arlington. She was dedicated to a career that would allow her to have a positive impact on people's lives. Lauren had a kind heart and caring personality. She was an avid animal lover and always had kitties in her home. Lauren was born June 11, 1989, to Ken and Derylann Price of Arlington. Ken is a consultant for XLI, and Derylann is an NP at MCA of Arlington, and for Dr. Rasmussen in Arlington. Lauren's home family also includes her brother, Calvin Price, who is a senior at The Oakridge School in Arlington. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Betty Price of Del City, Okla.; maternal grandfather, Bob Carmack of Walnut Springs; and her paternal uncle, Tony Price of Del City, Okla. Survivors: Her loving parents, Ken and Derylann Price; her brother, Calvin of Arlington; maternal grandmother, Leila Carmack of Waco; maternal aunts and uncles, Liz and Brent Carmack of Walnut Springs, Shanna and Kerry Lamb of Houston, Jennifer and Greg Carmack of Moody; paternal aunt and uncle, Paula and Peter Price of Graham, Wash.; a number of cousins who reside in Texas and Washington; and an ocean of friends.
