Beth McGowan KELLER -- Beth McGowan, 79, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Keller with Keith Sanders officiating. Interment: Following the service, Beth will be laid to rest next to her husband in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Friends may call 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 137 E. Hill St., Keller; the family will be present to greet friends 6 to 8 p.m. Beth was a member of First Baptist Church of Keller for many years and was a member of Grapevine Eastern Star Chapter #326. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Rochelle Ebbe "R.E." McGowan Jr. Survivors: Sons, Edward McGowan and his wife, Joyce, and Richard McGowan and his wife, Martha; daughter, Jerri Sue Proffitt and her husband, Gary; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Blakeley and his wife, Jo Ann; sister, Bobbie Mull and her husband, Jerry; and several sisters-in-law.
