EULESS -- Letitia Harigel Gibbs, known by all of her family and friends as Tish, passed away suddenly at her home Thursday, May 7, 2009. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, 14115 Hillcrest Road, Dallas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Clothes Closet operated by the Hurst-Euless-Bedford lSD, 1100 Raider Drive, Euless, Texas 76040. Tish was born in Houston on July 12, 1951. She was the mother of two daughters, of whom she was so proud, Erin Rydberg and Amy Gibbs, and the wife of Owen Gibbs. In addition to being a devoted mother and wife, she worked as in the oil and gas exploration industry as an administrative assistant and as quality control manager. She also worked as the attendance counselor for four years at the Keys Learning Center in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD. She was the daughter of Oscar W. Harigel and Irene K. Harigel, who predeceased her. Survivors: Her husband; daughters; son-in-law, Eric Rydberg; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Ed Davis; sister-in-law, and her husband, Beth Gibbs Russell and Don Russell; and many friends who will all miss her very much.
