FORT WORTH -- Linda Hall Morton passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Linda was born March 26, 1936, in Fort Worth, the only child of Clarence and Lucille Hall. She grew up in Riverside, was in the class of 1954 at Amon Carter High School, and graduated from Texas Wesleyan College. She taught school for 35 years at M.H. Moore Elementary. Linda and her husband owned and operated Fast Cash Pawn for 28 years. She is remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who cared deeply about her family. A special thanks to Dr. Wm. Seger, Dr. Charles Andrews and the men and women of Christian Care Center Lakewood Village. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Husband, Bobby Morton; son, Craig Bennett and his wife, Connie; grandchildren, Weston Bennett and his wife, Sally, Allie Bennett; great-grandson, Sawyer Bennett; Curtis Dantin.
