Linda Sue Ward, 67, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, July 5, 2006. She is now home with her Lord and Savior. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Blessing Colonial Chapel, 401 Elm St., Mansfield. Burial: Laurel Land, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Blessing Funeral Home. Linda was born May 20, 1939, in Foreman, Ark. She moved to Fort Worth in 1956 and met the love of her life, Arnold Franklin Ward. They married in Fort Worth on Feb. 16, 1957. She loved sewing, crafts and her flower garden. For many years she was a baby sitter to many neighborhood kids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Franklin Ward; parents, B.D. Spence and Victoria Davis Spence; brother, Herman Spence; and sister, Idean Green. Survivors: Daughters, Debra Ward of Mansfield and Denise Ward of Rendon; sisters, Otherene Crump of Cove, Ark., Helen Cupp and her husband, Doyle of Bluffton, Mary Moss of Schertz, Veda Calicott and her husband, Travis of Bluffton; grandchildren, Greg Ward of Mansfield, Chandler Garcia of Rendon; and numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and beloved friends.
