Lindy Wright

Mr. Lindy Gene Wright, age 81, died at the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Lindy was born August 29, 1929 in Bristow, Oklahoma. He moved to Ft. Worth in 1954, where he joined his brother Raymond in a partnership in Wright Laundry Supply, later to become Wright Incorporated. In 1970, he married Dorothy Jacoby of Ranger, Texas. Together they moved to Lillian in 1973 and started Wright Polled Herefords. Lindy was a director of the Federal Land Bank from 1991-1997, member of the American Hereford Association from 1973-present, a director of the Texas Polled Hereford Association from 1992-1996 and Honorary Lifetime Member Advisor for the Texas Junior Polled Hereford Association. In 1985, he was inducted into the Masonic Lodge of Venus. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Dorothy; his sister Alyne Robbins of Grove, Oklahoma; his daughters, Cheryl Seim and husband David of Oaxaca, Mexico; Terry Gene Moore and husband Charles of Covington, Texas; grandchildren, Kyle Miller and wife, Stacy, Terry Alan Miller and wife, Carla, Kelly Joe Conner and wife, Michelle, and Cody Conner and wife, Julie; great-grandchildren, Haley, Mason, Sarah, Tracy, Alex, Ty, West and Rowdy.
