Lonnie Ray Wyatt Lonnie Wyatt of Godley, Texas was born on November 18, 1936 in Kennedale, Texas and passed away on September 5, 2008 after a short illness. He was raised in Kennedale and after school he joined the United States Air Force serving his country for eight years. He spent his life in the Fort Worth area working for Bell Helicopter, Gearhart Industries and Halliburton before retiring to own his own business Widco Loggers and later, Aero Loggers. Lonnie was a wonderful husband, daddy, Papaw and Poppop. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 44 years Sharon M. Wyatt of Godley; sister, Lovella Verner of Archer City; son Joseph Wyatt, Sr. and wife Lanay of Godley; daughter, Mary Carroll and husband Danny of Grandview; son, Matt Wyatt and wife Kelley of Porter, Tx; grandchildren, Marcy Kimbrell, Joseph Wyatt, Jr., Wendy Wyatt, Eddie Wyatt, Kaelye Wyatt, Kaleb Wyatt and Kaesye Wyatt several great grandchildren, numerous cousins and many friends. Lonnie will lie in state at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. The family will be accepting family and friends on Sunday, September 7 from 4-8p.m. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Godley, Texas at 3p.m. on Monday, September 8 with interment following at Godley Cemetery.
