LOUISE LIPSHITZ

FORT WORTH -- Louise Klar Lipshitz, 86, a loving mother and grandmother, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, March 13, 2008. Funeral: 11 a.m. Sunday in the Beth-El Section of Greenwood Memorial Park, with Rabbi Ralph Mecklenburger officiating. Following committal prayers, Louise will be laid to rest next to her husband, Leo. Memorials: Consideration of contributions to a charity of one's choice, in Louise's memory, is suggested. A native and life resident of Fort Worth, Louise was born Dec. 16, 1921, the daughter of Jacob and Lena Winterman Klar. She was married to Leo Lipshitz, who died in 1993. Survivors: Her children, Jay Lewis and his wife, Mary of Fort Worth, and Lana Kay Lipshitz Sacks and her husband, Jeff of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; grandchildren, Bradley Lewis and Joshua and Colby Sacks.
