HALTOM CITY -- Louise Miller Owens, 91, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 4, 2013. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Smithfield Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania. Louise was born March 10, 1922, in Smithfield to William and Florence Watts. She was a former member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was a lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW 4710. Louise was preceded in death by her daughter, Myrna Florence Miller, in 1990. Survivors: Daughter, Shirley Minter and husband, Bob; sons, Cecil Stowe and wife, Carol, Rick Miller and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Bob Duncan, Stephanie Duncan, Dennis Duncan, Jerald Duncan, Jason Stowe, Lauren Ramsey, Darren Miller; and numerous great-grandchildren.
