Lowell Johnson

FORT WORTH -- Lowell Stanton "Stan" Johnson, 70, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at his residence.        Memorial service: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Chapel in Hurst.        Lowell, the son of Lowell D. and Miriam A. Fleming Johnson, was born March 15, 1939, in Kokomo, Ind. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of honorable service. Lowell devoted much of his time to sports, coaching Special Olympics, Little League, junior bowling and intramural softball. He was also a member of the North Texas Mustang Club.        Survivors: Children, Becky Johnson Cronk, Troy S. Johnson, Shawna L. Johnson; grandchildren, Matthew, Samantha, Travis, Austin, Stephanie, Jayden; great-grandchildren, Carver, London, Javon; sister, Sharon McGinn; companion, Vada Marlowe and her sister, Karla Goss.
