KELLER -- Luther Thomas "Tommy" Poole, 83, passed away peacefully with family by his side Monday, March 7 2011.        Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, Calif. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller for a time of remembrance and visitation.        Tommy was born and raised in Hamilton, Miss. He joined the Army at age 18, serving his country proudly during World War II. He returned to the States, living in Oklahoma and then moving to California, where he raised his family while working in the lumber industry.        Tommy's passions include the VFW, camping and supporting the Lions Club, but first and foremost, his family and friends. For Tommy's daughter, Claudia, and family, it has been a pure blessing for his final months to be in the comfort of their home.        He was preceded in death by his sons, Thomas Lynn Poole and Gerald Lee Poole; and five brothers and sisters.        Survivors: Wife, Mary M. Poole; loving daughter, Claudia Neuberg and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Amber Lane, William Neuberg and Natasha Neuberg; and a large extended family.
