Mabel Hendricks

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of choice. A native of the Fort Worth area, Mabel attended school in Birdville and graduated from North Side High in 1932. She married Dumont Hendricks, who passed away in 1998. In the 1940s, she joined the war effort, inspecting parts before they were shipped overseas. Mabel later became cosmetician at Scott Drug, Moreland Drug and Skaggs in Fort Worth. She retired in the late 1960s and devoted her life to caring for ailing family members. She was a member of Oakhurst Presbyterian Church for many years. Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, James and LeNore Hendricks; grandson, Stephen Hendricks, all of Ramsey, N.J.; several nieces and nephews and their families.
