MANSFIELD -- Magdalena Martinez passed away to be with the Lord on October 15, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Mansfield. Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m., Wednesday at St. Jude Catholic Church, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home. A Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Magdalena was born July 22, 1945 in Mexico, the daughter of Wenseslado Sigala and Amada Carillo Sigala. She came to the U.S. for a better life 1975. She worked at Lifoam Industries in Waxahachie for 30 years. She loved God and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield. A loving mother, she also loved to tend to the flowers in her garden. Survivors: Two sons, Sergio and Saul Martinez; 4 daughters, Rosa Martinez, Maribel Holgin, Sonia Martinez and Teresa Carrington; 10 grandchildren, Lesley and Vanessa Suarez, Samantha, Robert and Judy Holgin, Antonio and Laura Martinez, Melody Martinez and Mia and Summer Carrington; two great-grandchildren, Maddix Ranney and Treyton Mayo; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
