HURST -- Marcelle Marie McGlothlin Barnett-White, 82, went peacefully to meet her Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Legacy Church of Christ, 8801 Mid-Cities Blvd., North Richland Hills. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. A resident of Hurst for 45 years, she was born in Fairy on Nov. 14, 1928, and lived her early years in Hico. She married Claude Barnett in 1944 and they moved to Fort Worth in 1948. They became members of the Church of Christ in 1952. They had two daughters. After Claude's passing in 1998, "Celle" married Donald A. White in 2006. Celle was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. Her love of God was shown in her loving and gentle spirit, ever-present smile and meticulous appearance. Her sky blue eyes were noticed by everyone she met. She managed her career, kept an immaculate home and was a shining Christian example to her family and friends. Survivors: Husband, Donald A. White; daughters, Claudia Roach and husband, Randy, Carol Loucks and husband, Vince; grandchildren, Evan Roach, Terri Roberson and husband, Ken, Michael Loucks and wife, Danielle, Phylisia Loucks and fiance, Cody Kenner; and great-grandchildren, Phillip Roach, Brandon Roach, Alexandra Bradford-Roach, Nicholas Bradford-Roach, Emma Loucks, Kaysin Kenner.
