MARGARET BECKHAM

FORT WORTH -- Margaret Ordile Beckham passed into the arms of her Lord on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, during her 54th year. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday in the Fleming Chapel of Broadway Baptist Church, 305 W. Broadway Ave. The Rev. Dr. Brent Beasley, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Craig Sommer, Margaret's cousin and former pastor of St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Austin, will officiate. Family and friends will be received in the church's Fellowship Hall immediately after the chapel service. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Broadway Baptist Church or to the Lupus Foundation, in her memory, is suggested. A native and lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Margaret was born July 11, 1957, the daughter of Joseph Robert and Wanda Garland Ordile. She attended Tanglewood Elementary and Trinity Valley schools before graduating from Texas Christian University. Margaret was a property manager and enjoyed working with the elderly and helping with estate sales. We celebrate her life remembering happy family gatherings, travels and her love for animals. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Joe Ordile. Survivors: In addition to her mother, Wanda, Margaret is survived by her aunt, Wilda Garland Sommer; and several cousins and their families.
