Margaret "Peggy" McCravy, 58, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Friday, July 17, 2009, at her home with her loving family after a brief, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Service: Memorial service and inurnment will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Laurence Episcopal Church, 519 N. Kimball Ave., Southlake, with rector, the Very Rev. William Crary, officiating. Memorials: Instead of flowers, the family respectfully invites friends who desire to honor Peggy's memory with contributions in her name to the American Cancer Society, designated to pancreatic cancer research, 3301 West Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76107, 817-737-9990. Peggy was born March, 6, 1951, in Raymondville to Robert and Emma Groth Strong. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Strong; and sister, Ruth Long. Survivors: Husband of 42 years, Michael McCravy; daughters, Michele Mitchell and husband, Wendell, Shannon Terrill and husband, David, and Kristina Agne and husband, Rob; grandchildren, Austin and Allison Mitchell and Samantha Terrill; brothers, James Strong and Richard Strong; sisters, Nancy Barbour, Shirley Tow and Terry Brake; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family; and many friends.
