Margie Stokely

FORT WORTH -- Margie Marie Stokely, a loving mother and grandmother, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at a local care facility. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Lucas Hurst Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road. Interment: Following a committal service, Margie will be laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: Margie will lie in state Monday afternoon at the funeral home, with family receiving friends 6 to 8 p.m. Bearers of her casket will be her grandsons, Aaron, Brett, Derek and Joshua. Margie Marie was born April 6, 1919, in Payne Springs. She lived most of her life in Haltom City, where she made many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors: Sons, Charles Lee Stokely and his wife, Delora Chapman, and James Russell Stokely; daughter, Reha Maria Leaman and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Aaron Ray Stokely and his wife, Morgandy, Bryan David Stokely, Derek Charles Stokely and his wife, Michelle, Joshua Russell Stokely, Casey Lynn Stokely, Brett Austin Stokely, Melissa Leaman, David Leaman, Eric Leaman and Whitney Leaman; great-grandchildren, Gage Andrew Stokely, Elizabeth Faith Stokely and Samantha Noel Stokely; and extended family and friends.
