Marian Ruth Meister, 89, completed her life's journey on November 25, 2014 at her home in Carrollton, Texas. Marian was born on March 28, 1925 in Neenah, Wisconsin to Harris and Ann Van Essen Jacqmin. She was a graduate of West High in Green bay, WI. She married Robert (Bob) Meister on June 29, 1946. They had a double wedding at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay, WI along with her sister and her husband, Bernice and Alex Andrew. She proudly worked as one of the first women at the U.S. Weather Bureau in Green Bay, WI during World War II. She was the first woman in Wisconsin to report the weather on TV at WBAY in Green Bay, WI. Marian worked at various jobs including a nurse's aide, a bookkeeper plus she and her husband owned and operated a Sears Catalog store in Clintonville, WI. Marian is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert (Bob) Jacqmin, sister Bernice (Bea) Jacqmin Andrew, daughter Patrice (Pat) Meister Gunning and son Robert Michael (Mike) Meister. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Peggy Meister; her grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher and Tracie Gunning, Casey Meister and Dave Rudey, Kathleen (Katie) Gunning and John Lawton and great-grandchildren, Elliot and Hadley Gunning and Luke Rudey plus many nieces and nephews.
