NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Marie J. Evans, 88, died peacefully at a local hospital Thursday, May 29, 2008. Funeral: At the grave, 10 a.m. Tuesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. The Rev. Robert Owens will officiate. Following the service Marie will be laid to rest next to her husband, Harold. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday Lucas Hurst Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road. Marie was born Jan. 9, 1920, in Forrest City, Ark., to Julius H. and Ressie Mae Vaughn Jolly. Marie and her husband, Harold, owned and operated the Washing Machine Parts Company for many years in Fort Worth. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Evans, in 1989. Survivors: Daughter, Burla Tilghman; grandchildren, Kathy Werle and her husband, Jon, Michael Tilghman and his wife, Leah; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Karl Tilghman, Gavin and Dylan Werle.
