Mark Harris

Mark Harris, 48, of Krum passed away Wednesday, June4, 2008 in Denton. He was born September 10, 1959 inDenton, TX to Olen Clarence Harris (Shorty) and BillieDean Cheatham. He graduated from Krum High School in1978. He worked for Peterbuilt for 22 years. Mark wasa member of the Texas Bison Association. He was amember of the AQHA, the North Texas Cutting HorseAssociation, and the American Cutting HorseAssociation. He was also a member of the First BaptistChurch in Denton. He raised buffalo and loved workingwith horses.A visitation will be held Friday, June 6, 2008 from6-8pm at Denton Funeral Home. A graveside service willbe Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 10am at Bolivar Cemeteryin Sanger. Carl Roberson will officiate.Survivors include his wife Mitzie Wortman; step-sons,Ronnie Hale Jr., and Bobby Hale; step-daughter,Stephanie Martinez; step-grandchildren, Beau andKayden Martinez; and numerous extended family members.He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother,Gary.Services are under the direction of Denton FuneralHome and Cremation Services.
