Mark Turner

Mark was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on October 24, 1949 to John F. and Lucille D. Turner. He was a graduate of Indiana State University where he was active in Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was highly respected for his expertise in the field of hematology and was employed by Coulter Corporation for 27 years. During the past 8 years he has served as an Area Sales Manager for Clinical Diagnostic Solutions.  He was also a financial advisor, avid golfer, and occasional horseman. He was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Pamela; daughters Michelle Williams, Dr. Megan Turner, Marissa Ehinger and husband Ryan; granddaughters Peyton and Camryn Williams; mother Lucille Turner of Terre Haute, IN; sister Suzanne Turner of West Palm Beach, FL; father and mother-in-law William and Kathryn Hecht, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; his beloved dogs Bailey and Kahli and horses Zuri and Salsa.   He was a member of William Penn Lodge, and Scottish Rite of Terre Haute; and a member of the First Baptist Church of Terre Haute, IN. Locally he attended White's Chapel United Methodist Church.   The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45pm Wednesday February 16, at White's Chapel United Methodist Church 185 S. White Chapel Blvd., Southlake 76092 followed by a service at 2pm.    In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or a charity of choice.
