HURST -- Martha Darlene Blount, 70, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 2414 Hitson Lane in Fort Worth. Memorials: May be made to St. Matthew United Methodist Church. Martha spent her early years in Gibson City, Ill., and later made her home in Alexandria, Va., and Hurst. Martha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and, most of all, a loyal friend to many. Survivors: Husband, Donald W. Blount; sons, Kelly Brittain and wife, Pam, and Michael Brittain; stepsons, John Blount and wife, Adrienne, and Jeff Blount and wife, Debbie; daughter, Jill Smith and husband, Marvin; stepdaughter, Marjorie Cook and husband, Richard; brother, Larry Binnion and wife, Diane; sisters, Lois Mansfield and husband, Eddie, and Naomi Crow; grandchildren, Shane Thomas, Staci Hougland and husband, Ross, John Michael Martin, Benjamin Brittain, Erin Garsaud, William and Aubrey Cook, Mary Elizabeth and Virginia Blount; and great-grandchildren, Dalton and Abigail Thomas.
