HURST -- Martha Lee Wilson Smith, 93, of Hurst passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2012. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Rev. W.J. Slater, her favorite pastor, will offer words of comfort and a prayer for her family and friends at 4 p.m. Interment: Camden, Ark., in care of Proctor Funeral Home. She was born in Camden, Ark., on May 20, 1918. Martha Lee Smith was a rare treasure. She loved the Lord faithfully and served him humbly by caring for those blessed enough to be around her. Survivors: Son, Delmar Smith and wife, Sue; grandchildren, Pamela Allen and companion, Donald Faulks Jr., Dale Smith and wife, Carla, David Smith and companion, Shelly Madden, and Barry Smith and wife, Shantel; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren. She was Nanny for two children whom she loved very much from shortly after birth to age 18: Jeff O'Dell and Jennifer O'Dell Maddox.
