Mary Bednar

MANSFIELD -- Patricia Bednar, 71, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, in Mansfield. Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield. Visitation: The family will greet guests 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield. Memorials: Mansfield Animal Center, in lieu of flowers. Patricia was born Sept. 16, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoyed working in her yard, special projects around her home, and she especially loved to travel with her husband and their dog, Nicki. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Winifred O'Neil. Survivors: Husband, Phillip Bednar; children, Bob Bednar (Lynn), Peg Whitcomb (Wayne) and Mike Bednar (Trish); grandchildren, Jason, Amber, Chris, Robyn, Matt, Lyndsey, Angie, Ryan and Steven; great-grandchildren, Kora, Cole, Logan and Juliet; and her loving dog, Nicki.
