BEDFORD -- Mary Lou Blain, 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association. Mary Lou was a resident of Hurst area for 45 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hurst for 40 years and the United Methodist Women. She earned her private pilot's license and enjoyed doll making. Mary Lou was preceeded in death by her husband of 45 years, James Blain; and brothers, Tommy and Robert Wilson. Survivors: Sons, James and Linda Blain and John Blain; daughters, Bonnie and Gary Cooper, Mary Beth and Pat Patman and JoAnn and Cliff Turpin; grandchildren, Jeff Patman, Connor Patman, Leslie Tewell, Robin Utley, Katie Aberbach, Chase Turpin, J.C. Blain, Julie Loser, Adrienne Blain and Rachel Blain; and great-granddaughters, Chryslyn and Kayla.
