FORT WORTH -- Mary Christine Reeves, 87, died peacefully Saturday evening, Nov. 25, 2007. Funeral: Following a brief service at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Memorial Park, Chris will be laid to rest next to her husband, David. Visitation: Friends will be received in the Drawing Room at Robertson Mueller Harper on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. An Order of the Eastern Star service will begin at 1:45 p.m. Memorials: Consideration of contributions to a charity of ones choice, in Chriss memory, is suggested. A native of Newcomb, Tennessee, Mary Christine was born October 28, 1919, the daughter of Claude and Mary Beulah Hicks Braden. She was married to David John Reeves, who died in 1993. Chris and her husband owned and operated an insurance business in Fort Worth for many years. She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star and was Past Worthy Matron of chapters in Gunbarrel City and Kerrville and the Ridgea O.E.S. Chapter 999 in Fort Worth. Survivors: Her loving and faithful companion, Bootsie; and several nephews and their families.
