NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Mary L. Withers, 102, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mary was born Oct. 19, 1910, in Marlowe, Okla., to James and Edna Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred John Withers Sr.; sons, Fred John Jr. and Phil L. Withers; four brothers; and one sister. Survivors: Son, James Thomas Withers; daughter, Donna Withers Thornton; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
