Mattie Grant

Frisco Mattie Lou Grant, 93 of Frisco died on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at her home. She was born on August 7, 1914 in Tioga to James William and Gussie Ann (Maynor) Scoggins. She married Walter Grant in 1928. She worked at the Frisco Laundry Mat, was a seamstress, and later was a cook at a local Frisco caf and for the Frisco Independent School District. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter, daughter, Marie Watkins, son-in-law, Louie Watkins, granddaughter, Janice Watkins and seven brothers and sisters.
