Maxine Karr

Maxine was born July 15, 1921 in Ralls County, the daughter of Price Gore and Lillian Waters.She married to Tommy Karr on October 9, 1943 in Dallas, TX and he preceded her in death on October 31, 2007.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cathy Sue Karr of Midlothian, TX; three daughters and two son-in-laws, Catherine Jean Karr of Mansfield, TX, Lisa and Terry Adams of Arlington, TX and Janet and Randy Lovett of Mansfield, TX. One sister, Bernadine Wright of Mexico, MO; two grandchildren, Michelle Karr of Oak Point, TX, Craig Karr and his wife Rachel of Arlington, TX. One great grandchild, Sarah Elizabeth Karr of Arlington, TX.She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Uva Dell Wasson.Maxine graduated from Vandalia High School in 1939. She moved to Dallas, TX in 1942 where she spent her adult life. She and Tommy owned a grocery store for over 20 years.
