Mayme Jackson

MANSFIELD -- Mayme Ruth Walker Jackson, 85, passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at a local care facility. My mother was born Aug. 13, 1925. She graduated from Polytechnic High School and lived her entire life in Fort Worth. She was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church. She went to work for IBM in 1958 and was a proud member of the Quarter Century Club. My family would like to express special thanks to the staffs of Community Hospice, The Plaza at Mansfield, Mansfield Methodist Hospital, and the Mansfield Fire Department for their kindness. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda; an infant daughter; and her husband, Charles. Survivors: Her son, Steve and his wife, Paula, of Mansfield; grandchildren, David and Alicia; and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Braili, Caleb, Audrey and Coleson.
