Melanie Killman

On July 31, 1954 in Vernal, Utah, Billee and Rubel Killman were blessed with the birth of their daughter Melanie Rae Killman. Melanies childhood years were spent in Colorado as well as Midland, Texas followed by a move to Duncan, Oklahoma in 1968. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1973. She went on to attend the University of Oklahoma where among many other things she learned to sky dive. She later moved to Dallas to begin a career with the Richardson Police Department as a dispatcher where she was the calm voice on the end of many emergency calls. An automobile accident forced a midlife career change. Most recently she enjoyed a job with great co-workers at Georgia-Pacific in Denton working as a sales representative. She also had a weekend job at Valor Farms where she loved spending time outdoors and with animals.
