Melynda Bledsoe

Fort Worth -- At the young age of 55, Melynda Jane Bledsoe went to be with Jesus on Monday, Aug. 15, 2011.        Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield. Private interment: Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado.        Memorials: In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Humane Society of North Texas, 1840 East Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76103-2124.        She was born Sept. 13, 1955, in Fort Worth to Earnest Roy and Anna Jane Pernell Bledsoe. She accepted Jesus as her Savior early in her life and is now at home with Him in heaven. She left us too soon and her family and friends will be missing her for many years to come. She was kind, compassionate and always giving to others. Her laughter and smile will be missed most of all.        Survivors: Mother, Ann J. Collins of Arlington; daughter, Melanie J. Kathan and husband, Greg, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandson, Cameron Collins of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Olivia A.
