MANSFIELD -- Meredith Bower Hatch passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008, in Grand Prairie. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Meredith was born Dec. 15, 1969, in Houston, the daughter of James A. Bower Jr. and Elizabeth Camp Bower. She married Sherman Hatch on Oct. 2, 1993, in Dallas. Meredith and her husband are the owners of Primrose Schools in Mansfield and Grand Prairie. She was active in civic organizations in the local community, as president of the Mansfield Rotary, on the board of directors for Mansfield Education Foundation and Chamber of Commerce as well as an accomplished bicyclist and tri-athlete. Survivors: Husband of 15 years, Sherman Hatch; sons, Dalton, Jacob and Jared; parents, James and Elizabeth Bower; sister, Susan Barksdale; and niece, Madison.
