MERYL SADOW

FRISCO -- Meryl "Merri" Alpern Sadow died peacefully Friday morning July 22, 2011, during her 63rd year. Service: 11 a.m. Monday in the sanctuary at Beth-El Congregation, 4900 Briarhaven Road, with Rabbi Howard Parr of Plano officiating. Following committal prayers, she will be laid to rest in the Beth-El Section of Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: Her family will host a reception at the Temple following the cemetery service. Shiva and minyan services will be held at the residence. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, consideration of expressions to a charity of one's choice, in her memory, is suggested. Born March 26, 1948, in Freehold, N.J., Merri was the identical twin daughter of Ben and Florence Klinghoffer Alpern. She graduated from Freehold Regional High School in 1966 before attending Trenton State College in Trenton, N.J. Merri married Gary Sadow in 1972; the couple moved to Fort Worth in 1978. She was a homemaker and active in Fort Worth real estate for many years, taking pride in finding the perfect home for her clients. She was an optimistic person, always seeing the world through "rose-colored glasses." Anyone who knew her, loved her. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Gary, Merri is survived by her sons, Darin and his wife, Stephanie, and Todd; grandchildren, Ashton and Cameron; her mother, Florence Alpern; and twin sister, Ronni and her husband, Peter Bohm, and their family.
