Michael Leslie Gainer

Michael Leslie Gainer, 64, passed away April 20, 2013 at his home. Memorial Service: 2:00pm Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Michael was born July 9, 1948 in Levelland, TX to Horton and Margaret McDonald Gainer. He was a pipeline specialist for the Oil and Gas Industry, working for Valero and Conoco Phillips. Preceded in death by his father, Horton and his brother, Weldon; Michael was a devoted husband of 44 years to his wife, Sandra, and a consummate role model for what it meant to be a good father and steadfast family man. His legacy of love and loyalty carry on in his two children and his four granddaughters, whom he affectionately referred to as “brat-girls”. His physical presence in the lives of his family, friends, and his four-legged child Princess Mia, will be sorely missed; however, his strength and spirit will remain always. Survived by his wife, Sandra; son, Shane and his wife, Candi; daughter, Stephanie Billstone and her husband, Bobby; granddaughters, Makenzie and Mallory Gainer, Kendall and Kaylee Billstone; his mother, Margaret Gainer Cooksey; Father-in-Law, Jack Gage; Brother-in-Law, Scott Gage and his wife, Julie; four nieces, Kim Gainer DeArmond, Kristi Gainer Morris, Tiffini Gage Hargett, Breanna Gage, and one nephew, Nathan Gage. ?
