NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Mildred Lucile Dickerson, 84, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Chapel, 1321 Precinct Line Road. Interment: Bear Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mildred, the daughter of Clarence and Willie May Watson Arnold, was born Oct. 13, 1923, in Etowah County, Ala. She was a member of Birdville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dickerson Sr., and a granddaughter, Cassandra Dickerson. Survivors: Sons, Clarence W. Dickerson and wife, Flora, John Dickerson Jr. and wife, Connie, and Edward L. Dickerson; daughter, Juanita Kemp and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Dr. Christine Kocker, Jaime McClain, Brian Kemp, Susan Dickerson, Daniel Dickerson, Katie Dickerson and Aimee Dickerson; five great-grandchildren; brother, Emerson Arnold; and sisters, Juanita Smith and Peggy Cole.
