Mildred Keedy

RICHLAND HILLS -- Mildred H. Keedy, 87, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008, at a local hospital. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Lucas Hurst Funeral Chapel. Memorials: Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Susan B. Komen for the Cure, should friends desire. Mildred, the daughter of Andy and Sammie Edna Gaar Hedgepeth, was born Dec. 30, 1920, in Ruston, La. She married Ruffin H. Keedy on April 10, 1937; he died in 2001 after 64 years of marriage. Mildred retired from Camp Fire Girls after 20 years. Survivors: Children, Andy Keedy and wife, Kathy, Carole Arrington and husband, Cliff, Betty Howe and husband, Jim, Paul Keedy, David Keedy and Mark Keedy and wife, Laura; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
