Millie Hurt

Mildred was born June 22, 1923, in Wayne, W.Va. She had been a member of Ashbury United Methodist Church since 1959. Mildred was a part of the Shepherd's Flock, an outreach program of her church. She was a member of the Haltom City Garden Club. She was active in United Methodist Women and the Emmaus Community. Mildred will be remembered as an outstanding gardner and a caretaker of others. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hurt; her parents; and three sisters.Survivors: Left to mourn her death and cherish their memories are her son, Bob Hurt and wife, Susan, of Crowley; daughter, Georgia King and husband, Mike, of Canyon; grandchildren, Michael King and wife, Tracy, Michelle King, Amy Shelton and husband, Michael, Greg Hurt and wife, Amy, and Jason Hurt and wife, Sunny; and seven great-grandchildren.
