Mirek Halaska

MANSFIELD -- Mirek Frank Halaska, 59, a chief financial officer, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, after a courgeous battle with cancer. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield. Burial: Calvary Cemetery in Mansfield. Visitation: Noon to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Blessing Colonial Chapel, immediately followed by a prayer service. Mirek was a dedicated husband and father. He cherished his time outdoors and was an avid follower of the stock market. He will also be remembered for his zest for life, his smile and incredible courage. Survivors: His loving wife wife of 20 years, Suzanne; sons, Christopher Halaska and wife, Heather, Mirek Jr., and Clayton; brother, Charles Halaska; grandson, Hayden; seven nephews; one niece; and countless friends.
