FORT WORTH -- Molly Kathleen Forbes, 32, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at a local hospital. Her death was peaceful. Service: Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7341 Glenview Drive, North Richland Hills. Following the service, the family will receive quests in the parish hall. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Molly would appreciate donations made in her memory to either the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, Va. 2231, or the Humane Society of North Texas, 1840 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76103. Molly was born on a snowy day in Englewood, Colo. Her parents moved to Fort Worth when she was 3 months old, and Fort Worth had been her home since then. She attended Keller ISD schools from kindergarten to her senior year, graduating in 1997. While at Keller High School she played varsity tennis and worked on the yearbook. Molly also participated in Fort Worth's Sister City program. She spent extended time with families in Nagaoka, Japan, and Bandung, Indonesia. She also traveled to England and Italy. While attending TCC and North Texas State, she worked at Target, Ford Motor Credit Corp., Lane Bryant and Gourmet Food International. Friends and family all over the world remember her wit and generousity and her crazy dog, Bea. Molly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elwood "Woody" and Mary Knittle, and Dorothy and Foster Forbes; and uncle, Donald Baldwin. Survivors: Parents, Tom and Ellen Forbes of Fort Worth; sisters, Julie Flanders and husband, Eric, of Round Rock, Jennifer Forbes of Bedford and Jennifer Mary and husband, William Elliott, of Cedar Hill; beloved nieces and nephews, Peyton Love, Kiley Knittle and Elise, Faith, Aiden and Daniel Flanders; uncles, Tom and Dan Knittle of Hurst; aunts, Jeannie Knittle of Hurst and Carolyn Forbes Baldwin of Olympia, Wash.; and cousins, Andrew Knittle and wife, Lauren, of Oklahoma, Matt Knittle of Grapevine, Joey Thumm and partner, Kelly Lawton, of Hurst and Mike Thumm of San Jose, Calif.
