Myra Middleton

Myra Gail Middleton, 60, a loving mother, wife, daughter and sister, went home to the Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Medical Center of Arlington. Myra was born Feb. 10, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas the daughter of Howard Gilstrap and Robbie Womble Gilstrap. She graduated from Mansfield High School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She married Lonnie G. Middleton in Mansfield, Texas on August 29, 1975. She taught English in Mansfield ISD for about 30 years and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Mansfield. Myra loved her family dearly, and for those of us left behind, life will never be the same.. Survivors: Husband, Lonnie Middleton; daughter, Megan Middleton; mother, Robbie Gilstrap; sister, Karen Hughes and her husband, Harold; and seven nieces and nephews. Myra was preceded in death by her father, Howard Gilstrap. Memorials: Donations in her honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
