Nancy Cowin

HURST -- Nancy J. Cowin, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Nancy lived in Odessa for many years and was involved in the March of Dimes and her sorority. She retired after many years as a beautician. She and Bill were members of North Pointe Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in knowing she is not in pain now and is with her loving husband, Bill, who passed away Nov. 16, 2007. In addition to her husband, Bill, Nancy was preceded in death by her sisters, Louella Eaton and Margaret Fincher. Survivors: Son, Larry Cowin and his wife, Nancy; brother, Charles Tripp; grandson, Taylor Cowin; and other extended family members.
